Undoubtedly DJ Zorro is one of the UK's best Gospel DJ's. DJ Zorro has stacked up an impressive 14 years experience as a DJ; 11 years as a secular DJ and 3 years as a Gospel DJ.

His DJ career began in 1988 when he began competing as a Scratch Mix DJ in the internationally renowned DMC's (Disco Mix Competitions). His victories in these competitions soon led him into being the warm-up DJ for several American Rap Artists performing in the UK; this included Public Enemy, Da La Soul, Ice T and Naughty By Nature and many more.

Throughout the 90s I DJ'd for several RnB promoters who hosted popular RnB Nights and Weekenders around the West Midlands, including nights hosted at Grahams, Branstons, The Dome and Kudos.

In December 1999 Zorro became a born again Christian and his DJ career took a completely different turn. Since becoming a Born Again Christian, Zorro has become an avid collector of Gospel music and as a result I have an extensive Gospel music collection, which includes new and old music in the following genres; Soul, RnB, Reggae, Ragga/Dance Hall, Jazz, Garage, Hip Hop, Salsa, Calypso and Praise and Worship.

Zorro is now the Resident DJ at the Birmingham based Gospel Entertainment Venue, Cafe GOSPEL, hosters of the popular Gospel Club Night - Gospel Renaissance. He also DJ's at Chistian Weddings and Parties across the UK. 2004 for a busy year busy year for DJ Zorro and with several bookings in his 2005 diary, 2005 looks like it going to be even busier.
